There was great activity out on the green area towards the back of the school grounds on Tuesday.
We did the Soil Preparation work for the latest stage. This consisted of laying cardboard & bark mulch to help suppress grass & weed growth over the Winter period. A truck made a delivery of the bark mulch.
Approx 120 students helped out in some shape or form. It was very worthwhile - A bit of outdoor work & fresh air did everyone good.
In the Spring time, we will plant several hundred more native saplings with the help of our students.
